In 2009 Mrs. Elizabeth Kabler and a dedicated board of trustees founded The New York Center for Living, the first adolescent and young adult treatment center of it’s kind in New York City.
The New York Center for Living exclusively serves the unique developmental, social and psychological needs of adolescents and young adults with substance use and co-occurring disorders. At New York Center for Living, we understand that most adults with addiction first began using before the age of eighteen, and are dedicated to combating these statistics. We believe early intervention, peer support networks, and strong family relationships are integral to a successful treatment outcome. New York Center for Living was founded to fulfill a dire need in New York City specifically designed for the needs of this young population, from prevention, early intervention, and treatment.
We help adolescents, young adults and their families treat substance abuse and co-occurring disorders with specialized, individual care.
